歌詞內容講述一位父親教導孩子，面對愛情時，要保持清醒，不要光看外表，而不理內涵；因為愛情像檸檬樹，外形漂亮，花也甜美，但是檸檬果實酸澀不能直接吃！寓意十分形象化 。
